The Fastest Hunk of Junk in the Galaxy
The Millennium Falcon !!!
On a side note, I got a new iPhone 4s and have to say the pictures look a lot better. Also, loving the trailer for The Hobbit, to bad we have to wait a full year. At least we'll have more hype in that LEGO got the license for LotR, so we'll get some sets from the older movies and these new ones right around release, I'll be happy as long as we get a game like the other licenses. Also in LEGO news it looks like I get to do this again as they are going to have another SW Advent Calender.

My personal favorite
Today we have the really just a sight gag, Mouse Droid. I don't know why, but this has always been my favorite, and I think that Robot Chicken hit it on the head, when they had a mouse driving it. I also remember being fascinated when I saw a replica one the R2 builders made at Celebration 4.

Good day
Today is a good day, the plumbing issue from Sunday is fixed, thereby meaning that I won't have to put off a purchase I was waiting for, that was under threat of having to hold off even longer if there was a plumber bill. although that could have ended up not as bad as I feared as well.
As for today's entry in the SW LEGO advent calender is a droid with the designation of R2-Q5. Had to look quite a bit to find what he was, searching both the wookiepedia, that I link to, and brickapedia as well. Sure enough I did find that he was part of the calender.

2 for 1
Due to a backed up sink didn't really have time to post yesterday, so you get a 2 for 1 post today.
Entry 11 from yesterday is a B1 Battle Droid first seen in Ep. 1. Another set and the LEGO Star Wars Video Games have the ones with the blue coloring as Pilot Battle Droid.
And today's entry is a T-47 Airspeeder, seen as a snowspeeder in Episode 5. Again showing that we are no longer grouping by movie.

No Pattern Anymore
So the LEGOs no longer have a pattern, it was looking like they were grouped by movie, but with today's entry I am no longer thing so. Today is a Lambda class Shuttle seen most often in Return of the Jedi.

Iconic Ship
Today is the X-wing Starfighter. Goes well with the Pilot from yesterday. I like the blue round block for R2.

Could be Luke, but I think Generic Pilot
As the title says today's minifig could be Luke Skywalker, but with the blank Helmet I am thinking it's a generic Rebel Pilot.
Though this shot almost has a Porkins look to it, without the beard.

Huh?
So I have no idea what today's LEGO Advent entry is. It looks like a weapons/tool rack of some kind, but I can't place it. Post a comment if you have any ideas.

Everyone's Favorite Wookiee
Today is a minifig of the mighty Chewbacca.
The pics are not the greatest, not that they have been, or that I expected perfection, but for some reason I couldn't get this one right. So, Sorry about all that. Anyway, here is the pic.

Today is easier to figure out, and looks like we are getting into Episode II. Again we get some extra pieces, but we have a Spider Droid

Quick Post
Busy day today, so a quick post from my iPod. Will try to format and add links later.
Today's advent entry keeps up the Episode I theme with what looks to be a Droideka. My oldest son Lucas put this together, though I did have to adjust the claw like feet to point the right way.

Edit: still not sure if that's what its supposed to be, since it doesn't have the guns or the fold out type head. But if it's not that, then what is it?
After further input, and research I have to admit it looks more like the Mechno-chair but still from Ep. I

Happy Birthday Kyle!!!
Today is our youngest son, Kyle's 2nd Birthday. As it is the 2nd it means it also his Golden Birthday. So, Happy Birthday to Kyle!!!!
Today's entry from the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calender is a mini-fig of the Clone Wars version of Nute Gunray.
Also found (read cleaned up a spot that was outrageously cluttered) a place to use the display.

Star Wars Advent Calender
So I bought the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar a while back.
In an attempt to post every day I decided to do a post on each days item.
It has a nice display, but to keep out of reach of little hands I will just each set on the bookshelf in the background there. I am opening all the doors, I don't need to have the package intact. I will try to find instructions through LEGO's site or if someone has scanned them on another site that I can't think of the name at this time. We got a City calender a few years back and that is how I have the instructions for that one.
And here is where I get geeky. It is a Consular Class Cruiser first seen in Episode I: The Phantom Menace. As you can see it has a few extra pieces, but that happens with those single post items in almost every other LEGO set I have ever gotten.

My Cloud software
So although the Cloud software that I am using has an android based app, it is incompatible with the Kindle Fire. So that kind of sucks, hopefully it will update, and work with it, but for now... oh well. Have to wrap it up for Christmas anyway.
The Program is called Tonido and it has apps for the big three mobile platforms as well as being able to access from the web. The appeal to me is that I store the stuff on my drives, not uploading it to some other companies servers.

Keeping it going
Not really a lot to post about today, just another day off work.
but still wanted to post to keep the trend of daily posts going.
Working on getting some of our DVDs to our hard drive to have access with a personal cloud software, though some tests show streaming may not totally work the way I want, but we would still have access to the movie files from our Phones and iPods and any other devices that may come down the line.

Maybe......
So maybe I will try to post something every day.
Dr. Peter Venkman: I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. What do you mean, "bad"?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon. -- IMDb Quotes: Ghostbusters (1984)

Coming Black Friday: The iPad-an-hour Giveaway
So Zagg has had giveaways for the iPad since it came out. Those who follow me on Twitter may have seen me enter quite a bit (seems like that is mostly what I was using Twitter for). Well now they are having an iPad-an-hour Giveaway on Black Friday.
From their site
They also have some additional entries for those who blog about the contest, which is what I am doing here right now.
I am excited about this contest and plan on entering as often as I can on that day.
Here is a link to the Contest. Good Luck!
From their site
On Black Friday, November 25, 2011, starting at midnight (MST), we’ll be giving away an iPad 2 every hour. 24 iPad 2s over 24 hours. Each hour is a new opportunity to enter the giveaway. So yes, you need to go to the giveaway page each hour and enter.
Entering the giveaway will be simple. To enter, just submit your email address. For additional entries, you can share on Facebook and Twitter. A Facebook share is worth two additional entries and a Twitter share is worth one additional entry.

Some Explination
I'll be honest, I don't think I will post everyday here, but randomly I will try to say something about what I had done that day, or what I am looking forward to.
So currently looking forward to the Syfy shows Eureka and Warehouse 13 have their holiday specials, same with Doctor Who. and In February I will go to see Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D.
Been listening to Star Wars Action News, and its spin off Republic Forces Radio Network, along with The Nerdist for podcasts. I do fall behind at times, in fact missed out on a giveaway with one due to being sooooo far behind, was shocked to hear that I was one of the winners.
Some products that I have discovered online that I like to use are Scott-E-Vests, lots of pockets for all the gadgets that I love. When I first bought one, wore it all the time, even wore out one of the pockets zippers. I do still were it, but not as constantly as I did, seems to be more when I travel and need to make sure I do bring all my gadgets. Another is the Invisishield through Zagg. Had one for every style of iPod that we have owned, and even one for the PSP, didn't get one for our Kindle Ebooks, but thinking about it. More on that later as they are having a contest that I will devote an entire post to.
I work at night so have to watch most of my TV after work or on my days off on DVR. Set up recordings for some that I used to watch religiously, only to have them pile up now. Maybe I should get rid of them, or just have a marathon and get caught up.
That's all for now, will probably do the contest post I was talking about then call it a day.

The beginning
So, here is my first blog post. I could ramble on about what I hope to accomplish here, but it's just a way to put up random thoughts about random stuff. I'll try to get a post out soon about some of the topics that I'll likely be talking about, but its late and I really should go to bed.
